Welcome to the website for the 2020 Graduate Center English Student Association Conference Disability is Not a Metaphor: Access and Accessibility.

Unfortunately, our in-person event slated for March 13, 2020 is cancelled due to CUNY Graduate Center guidelines on public events in response to COVID-19.

En lieu of the in-person conference, we will be publishing presenters’ work to this site in the coming weeks and opening up an opportunity for asynchronous discussion of chronic illness, historical depictions of disability, and the future of the (accessible?) university, among many other rich and relevant topics.
